What are Ringtagz?

Ringtagz are music, comedy, fun sounds plus much more that your callers hear when they call you, instead of the 'ring ring' they usually hear when waiting for you to answer.

Where can I buy a Ringtag?

What's the difference between a Ringtag and a Ringtone?

A Ringtag is what your caller hears when they call you, while a Ringtone is what you hear when a caller calls you. Ringtagz are stored on the Orange network so there's no need for you to download anything!

Will Ringtagz work on my phone and will all my callers hear them?

Ringtagz are separate from your handset so will work on all phones on the Orange network. All your callers can hear your Ringtagz, however you can select which callers hear which Ringtagz so you don't need to worry about the boss calling!

How much does a Ringtag cost, how do I pay for them and how many can I buy?

The service costs just '£1 per month and from free to '£1.50 per Ringtag.

Contract (Pay Monthly) customers will be charged via their monthly bill. If you are a Pay As You Go customer, you will have the cost deducted from your credit. During the purchase process your Pay As You Go credit will be checked; if you do not have enough credit you will not be able to complete your purchase and will not be charged.

You can buy as many Ringtagz as you want, there is no limit!

How can I get Ringtagz on my phone? And does it get downloaded to my phone?

When you purchase a Ringtag from us it is automatically assigned to your phone, simple!

Ringtagz are stored on the Orange Network and therefore you don't need to worry about downloading anything.

Once I've completed my purchase how long will it take to become available?

It is not necessary to have the phone on (or in coverage) after the purchase for the tune to take effect. Your Ringtag should be available within 5 minutes, however, at busy times it can take longer. If there is any technical reason why your purchase has not been successful, you will be advised during the purchase process and you will not be charged.

How long does a Ringtag last?

Your Ringtag is yours to keep from the date of purchase, as long as you remain an Orange customer, you pay your '£1 per month playing fee for the service and keep the same number. Unless you were told otherwise at the time of purchase, or Orange decide to remove it from the Ringtag Service for legal or rights reasons. If so we may offer you a replacement Ringtag to the same value of the Ringtag which was removed.

Can I stop certain callers hearing my Ringtag?

You can specify which of your callers hear which of your Ringtagz and on what day (weekdays or weekends); so there's no need to worry about what the Boss or your Gran thinks!

The Ringtagz service enables all callers to hear Ringtagz, you cannot turn off the service for specific callers.

Can I play Ringtagz to specific callers at designated times?

Yes; you can assign Ringtagz to each of your callers, You can also have Ringtagz assigned for specific days; either weekdays only or weekends only.

Is there a maximum number of callers that can hear my Ringtagz?

You can set a Ringtag for all callers, there is no limit on how many callers can hear your Ringtag. There is no limit on how many callers you can assign a specific Ringtag to.

How do I manage my Ringtagz? Can I manage them on web and on mobile?

You can enable and disable your Ringtagz by going to Manage My Ringtagz on the mobile site http://orange.ringtagz.co.uk/m/

What is a Shuffle Playlist and how do I create one?

Shuffle Playlist allows you to add an unlimited number of Ringtagz to be played at random to your callers. To activate your Shuffle Playlist feature go to My Ringtagz > Settings and select 'Activate Shuffle'. You can then select tunes from your library and add to Shuffle (You need more than one Ringtag in your collection for Shuffle to function. When Shuffle is activated all subsequent purchases will be added to your Shuffle Playlist. You can add or remove tunes from your Playlist or de-activate Shuffle at any time by visting the My Ringtagz section

How do I create a new or amend an existing Caller?

To create a new caller go to Manage My Ringtagz > My Callers on the mobile site (http://orange.ringtagz.co.uk/m/) and add your new caller's name and number in the boxes; once complete click 'add caller'. To amend an existing caller go to Manage My Ringtagz > My Callers and click ‘Amend’, you can then edit your caller’s details. Once complete click 'Confirm'. To delete a caller simply click 'Delete' next to the caller you wish to remove.

How can I stop my Ringtagz? Can I start it again and keep my Ringtagz?

You can stop your Ringtag service at any time by visiting Manage Manage My Ringtagz > Settings. If you stop the service and do not re-join within 3 months you will lose any Ringtagz you have purchased. To start the service again you simply need to buy a new Ringtag.
